Rolls Royce Spectre : The Electric Coupe

The Spectre design broadcast "Rolls Royce 3.0" for the all-electric portfolio by 2030 from the company.

In 1900, Charles Stewart Rolls, the co-founder of Rolls Royce predicted an electric motor car for the future. This luxury electric coupe is perfectly noiseless and clean with no smell or vibration. Now more than 120 years later, the period has come for the company to fulfil the prediction of the founding father. This will be useful when infrastructures are arranged.

The Rolls Royce Spectre is fed by a battery with a capacity of more than 100kWh and weighs 700kg (1543 pounds). Charging power automatically decreases after an 80% slate of charge is reached. The rapid charge of an EV depends on the charger and the maximum charging power EV can handle.

In terms of power and acceleration, the Rolls-Royce Spectre is placed in between the Audi E-Tron and Polestar 2. The Spectre concept is directly inspired by modern Yatch concepts and the sailing design looks like a modernist sculpture, tailoring and contemporary art. This new look also provides the most expansive grille ever fitted to Rolls-Royce, which features angled vanes that guide air movement through the nose of the car.

Design Of Rolls-Royce Spectre

The design of Spectre itself includes a 2-door with 23-inch wheels. The electric coupe car is 17.8 feet long which is 4 inches smaller than Hummer EV and 6.8 feet wide. The car weighs around 6559 pounds which is 1200 pounds heavier than Rolls- Royce Wraith. Based on the Rools-Royce aluminium architecture of luxury the EV has developed with different drivetrains in mind and will be one of the most expensive electric vehicles which are mass-produced.

The new sharp and thin DRLs are used to highlight the width of the vehicles, and the new wide grille lights up at the night for a luxurious look. The Spectre is divided into 3 main character lines, the lower one is the "waft" which is directly inspired by the yacht Silhouette, the shoulder line defines the flat, broadsides of the car and the roofline helps to communicate speed and aerodynamics efficiency.

The taillight is the most extensive single-body panel which is ever used for the production of Rolls-Royce, which extends from the A-pillar to the luggage area. The vertical tail lamps are colourless because of neutrality.
